How Leads Are Captured
Leads are created automatically when a chat visitor provides their contact information during a conversation. The typical flow:- A visitor opens your chat widget and starts a conversation.
- The Chat Agent engages the visitor based on its purpose (support, lead gen, sales, etc.).
- The visitor provides their name, email, or other contact details.
- Botric creates a lead record and stores the conversation history.
Lead capture depends on your bot’s purpose and prompts. Bots configured for Lead Generation or Sales are optimized to collect visitor information naturally during conversations.
Leads Table
The leads table provides a comprehensive view of all captured leads with search, filtering, and pagination.Columns

Search and Filter
- Search — Find leads by name, email, or any captured field.
- Filter by source — Show leads from a specific bot or agent.
- Filter by date — Narrow results to a specific time range.
- Pagination — Navigate through large lead lists with page controls.
Lead Details
Click on any lead to open its detail view. The lead detail page shows:Contact Information
All form data captured during the conversation, including:- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- Company name (if provided)
- Any custom fields collected by the bot
Conversation History
The full chat transcript between the visitor and your bot. This gives you context about what the lead was interested in, what questions they asked, and how the conversation went.Exporting Leads
Export your leads for use in external CRM systems, email marketing tools, or spreadsheets.- Click Export to download your leads as a CSV file.
- Use filters before exporting to narrow the export to specific leads.
