# Analytics

> AI-driven traffic, Google Analytics and Search Console in one place.

Analytics answers the commercial question behind everything else: is any of this bringing people to the site? Three data sources sit behind one sticky tab bar.

## Tabs

| Tab            | Source                                | Needs                      |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| **AI Traffic** | Referrals identified as AI assistants | Google Analytics connected |
| **GA4**        | Google Analytics 4                    | Google Analytics connected |
| **GSC** | Google Search Console | Search Console connected |

A date-range control (30, 60 or 90 days) scopes every chart, and each metric is charted against the previous period so you can see direction, not just level.

<Note>
  Analytics is a paid-plan feature. Without a connection, each tab shows a **Connect Google Analytics** / **Connect Google Search Console** prompt that links to [Integrations](/workspace/integrations).
</Note>

## AI Traffic

The tab that matters most for GEO work.

* **AI Visitors** — sessions that arrived from an AI assistant.
* **Share of all traffic** — AI referrals as a proportion of total sessions, shown as a donut.
* **AI-driven traffic trend** — AI sessions over time.
* **By platform** — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other assistants, broken out separately.
* **AI landing pages** — which of your pages AI assistants actually send people to.

<Tip>
  Cross-reference AI landing pages with your [Citations](/discoverability/citations). Pages that get cited but receive no traffic usually have a positioning problem; pages that get traffic but aren't cited are worth reinforcing.
</Tip>

## GA4

Your complete Google Analytics picture:

* **Summary** — active users, new users, sessions, engagement rate, average engagement time and bounce rate, each against the previous period.
* **Channel mix** — sessions by channel, with a filter to focus on one.
* **Traffic acquisition** — every source / medium bringing visitors.
* **Pages** — performance for every tracked page and path.
* **Countries** — an interactive map and the full ranked country list.
* **Devices** and **Events** — every tracked interaction and its audience.

## GSC

Google Search Console, for the classic-search half of the picture:

* **Summary** — clicks, impressions, average CTR and average position, against the previous period.
* **Trend** — clicks and impressions over time, with a metric selector.
* **Queries** — the searches you appear for.
* **Pages** — which pages earn the clicks.
* **Countries** — a map plus the ranked list.

<Note>
  If a period has no recorded data, the panel says so rather than drawing an empty chart. Widening the date range usually resolves it.
