# AI Visibility overview

> How often AI engines name and cite your brand — the GEO score, and everything behind it.

AI Visibility runs your tracked prompts across the AI platforms on your plan, reads every answer, and scores how your brand shows up. It's the core report in Botric.

## Running an analysis

**Run Analysis** starts a scan. The button shows the credit cost before you commit — a run bills for your plan's full tracked-prompt cap plus any add-on prompts, because the tracked set is refilled to the cap on every run.

While it runs, a progress banner reports the stage:

| Stage | What's happening |
| -------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| Identifying questions your customers ask AI | Intent generation |
| Clustering what your market asks about | Grouping topics |
| Looking up who else sells what you sell | Finding competitors |
| Querying your plan's AI engines | Running prompts |
| Pulling competitor names from AI responses | Identifying competitors in answers |
| Indexing pages and mapping your content | Content coverage |
| Mapping every mention back to source domains | Citations |
| Scoring tone for each mention | Sentiment analysis |
| Computing share-of-voice across LLMs | Benchmarking |
| Compiling the final report | Finalising |

The top bar shows **Scanning…**, then **Scan Complete**. If a run fails, the page explains why and offers **Retry Analysis**.

## AI platforms

Depending on your plan, prompts are run across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI, Mistral, Poe and Google's AI Overview. Results are broken out per platform throughout the report.

## The GEO score

Your headline number, 0–100, on a gauge.

| Score | Band | What it means |
| ------ | --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 90–100 | **Excellent** | Highly visible across AI platforms. Keep scanning to hold the position. |
| 80–89 | **Good** | You show up well. Closing the remaining content gaps pushes you higher. |
| 70–79 | **Fair** | Needs attention. Targeted content improvements lift mention frequency. |
| 0–69 | **Needs improvement** | AI platforms rarely surface you. Work the action plan. |

Under the score: the date of the last scan, how many prompts were tested and across how many platforms.

## Banners you may see

* **Stale prompts** — you've saved prompts that the latest completed report doesn't reflect yet. Re-run to include them.
* **Site Audit** — a nudge to run or review the technical audit, since crawlability limits citability.
* **Fast path** — a shortcut straight to your content gaps or priority fixes when the report finds something urgent.

## Prompt Explorer

**Prompt Explorer** opens the tracked prompt set for the site: which prompts are being run, which slots are add-ons, and which are managed by Botric. The badge shows tracked plus add-on prompts.
