# Invoices

> Your billing history and receipts.

**Settings → Invoices** lists every charge to your organization — subscription payments, prorations from plan changes, and add-on credit purchases.

## What's listed

Each invoice shows its date, type, amount and status.

| Status          | Meaning                      |
| --------------- | ---------------------------- |
| **Paid**        | Settled                      |
| **Payment due** | Awaiting payment             |
| **Failed**      | The charge didn't go through |

### Invoice types

* **Subscription** — a regular plan charge.
* **Proration** — the balancing charge from a mid-cycle plan change.
* **Credits** — an add-on credit pack purchase, showing the credits granted.

## Downloading

Each invoice links to a downloadable PDF hosted by our payment provider, suitable for your accounts team.

## Failed payments

A failed invoice is the trigger for the **Payment due** subscription status. Update your card in [Subscription](/account/subscription) and settle the invoice to restore access.
